The Club

Cars are only part of the story.

Lily Pad Cruisers brings car enthusiasts together around Petersfield and the Interlake. Cruises, shows, friendships and support for local causes are all part of what keeps the club going.

The Job

Make it useful. Keep it manageable.

The website needed to give visitors a clear picture of the club, make upcoming events easy to find and give volunteers a practical way to keep things current. A good-looking page was only part of the job.

What I Built

Built around the way the club works.

Events people can actually use

Dates, locations and the details that matter, with online RSVPs for events that need them. Each published event has its own link and a preview for sharing on Facebook.

Updates in the volunteers' hands

Approved volunteers can sign in to add and update events, manage photos and review RSVPs. Routine updates don't need a message to me every time.

Room for the whole club story

Club history, community fundraising, the people behind it and a photo gallery give new visitors a feel for what the Cruisers are about.

A direct way to get in touch

Visitors can ask about membership or an event through the contact form. Inquiries go to the club's approved volunteers.

Volunteer Self-Service Portal

The volunteers can take it from here.

The public website is only half the job. These simple screens let approved volunteers keep events and photos up to date themselves.

Manage the event calendar

Add or update an event

Keep the gallery current

Review club photos and edit their captions without changing the website layout.

Upload photos in a few clicks

Now Live

One home for the club online.

Visitors can find the next event, learn about the club and get in touch. Volunteers have their own tools to keep events and photos up to date. Take a look around and see how it all fits together.
