Meet Mike.
I build websites for small businesses. I've been messing with websites since high school, but most of my career has been in operations, sales, management and growth. That mix is why I tend to look at websites as business tools first.
I've Been Around Websites for a While
It started in high school, learning HTML and building my first site out of curiosity. Since then I've worked with a long list of website and e-commerce platforms, both for my own projects and alongside larger digital businesses.

I also built and ran my own Shopify dropshipping business for several years before selling it. Web development has never been my full-time job, but websites and e-commerce have kept showing up in what I do.
Business First, Technology Second
My main career is in business operations and growth, and I currently work as a Director of Operations & Growth. So when I look at a website, I'm thinking about the business behind it, not just how the page looks.

Why Sites by Mike?
Helping friends and family with Wix, Squarespace and other DIY tools showed me there's a big gap between building it yourself and hiring a full agency. Sites by Mike is meant to sit in that middle ground: professional, personal and straightforward, without unnecessary overhead.

I run Sites by Mike on the side because I genuinely enjoy the work. Keeping it small means lower overhead, direct communication and more hands-on attention. I use modern tools, including AI, where they help me move faster, but the direction, content, testing and final decisions still get a human set of eyes.
